Helios 500S
HELIOS 500S SERIES PRESSURE PACKAGE SYSTEMS
The pressurized solar energy package system operates with natural circulation. No pumps or similar machinery are used for the system to operate. Our pressurized solar energy package systems, which operate in a closed circuit, contain a solar fluid-water mixture inside the solar collector. When heated by the sun, the mixture’s density decreases and it begins to rise, ascending to the section of the jacket surrounding the storage tank within the closed circuit. Here, the solar transfer fluid and water mixture, which transfers its heat to the domestic water, cools down and returns to the solar collectors with increased density. This movement continues as long as the sun is shining and heats the water used. In this system, hot water pressure is directly dependent on mains pressure and operates at the same pressure. Closed-loop pressurized solar energy systems are preferred in all climates.
