Our Story
For us, it all began in 1992 in a small workshop in Mersin. That workshop didn't just have a few machines; it had the courage, hard work, and grand vision that laid the foundations for today's Şimşek Group.
Initially, we had a single focus: to do the right job, in the best way possible. We soon strengthened our production capabilities, transforming into an organization that not only follows technology but also develops it. Our first step with solar thermal collectors foreshadowed the journey our brand would embark on in Turkey and around the world.
As we grew over the years, our sphere of influence expanded. Our dealer network spread throughout Turkey, followed by our export activities, automation investments in production, and our modern production campus in Mersin 2nd Organized Industrial Zone, which we look upon with pride today. All these steps were the natural results of a stable journey where we progressed by building upon the previous one.
With growth came increased responsibilities. Participating in TOKİ and AFAD projects, standing by our country in times of need, reminded us once again that our work carries not only commercial but also social value.
In the period after 2018, we entered a more determined and visionary growth phase. We prepared our company for global competition with our digital transformation steps. Today, our export network, reaching 25 countries, clearly demonstrates that this vision is built on solid foundations. We completed our production ecosystem with SMK Teknik and gathered our strength in the field under one roof with Şimşek YES.
And 2026…
The year the LIPUS brand, representing the future of the group, was born. We opened a new chapter in energy storage, heat pumps, and renewable energy technologies. Now, we are moving forward with the goal of not only being a growing brand but also a structure that directs the development of the sector and raises standards.
Looking back today, we clearly see that a small workshop in 1992 was actually the first step of a great story. Every investment, every decision, and every milestone leads us to the same truth:
The right work, effort, and vision never go to waste.
This journey is still ongoing.
